Working groups provide an opportunity for faculty and graduate students to work together through regular meetings to advance ideas for research, present research in progress, and discuss topics of interest. Led by CSES faculty affiliates, each group also has a graduate student intern who works closely with the faculty coordinator. The working groups receive a small budget to support their activities and, on occasion, to invite outside speakers.
